Delete Multiple Images from Photo Stream on an iPhone with iOS 5.1 [HOW TO]

One of the better features to come out in the new iOS 5.1 is the ability to delete photos from the Photo Stream. When I looked at my Photo Stream on my iPhone I had over 1000 images - deleting the ones I don't want one by one is not a very efficient option!

There is a new way!

On you iPhone, open you photos and select the Photo Stream album.

Then click on the icon in the top right corner

This will allow you to select multiple photos by tapping on the image. Tap the image again to deselect it - you'll know if you've selected it as a tick will be on the image selected

Once you have selected the images you want, click on the Delete button at the bottom - Note that this will also delete images in your photo stream on other devices!

You can always cancel the process by clicking on the Cancel button in the top right
